CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

barre

body weight strength-training class. we often use light hand weights, core balls, bands, fitness balls, gliders, etc. as props during classes. we suggest wearing shorts or leggings with a comfortable workout top. barre classes are about 40 minutes long with a 5-7 minute stretch and cool down at the end. we generally don’t wear shoes for barre and use a yoga mat. all barre class props are included.

barre strength

this class is a mix of barre class but with portions of the class using heavier weights. we suggest wearing shorts or leggings with a comfortable workout top. barre classes are about 40 minutes long with a 5-7 minute stretch and cool down at the end. we generally don’t wear shoes for barre strength and use a yoga mat. all class props and weights are included.

strength training

this is a circuit strength training class where we work on the same programming for a month to encourage progressive overload. we suggest wearing shorts or leggings with a comfortable workout top. strength training classes are just about an hour which includes instruction and form tips, warm up, strength training and cool down. we generally don’t wear shoes for strength training and use a yoga mat for the cool down. all strength training weight and equipment are included.

strength and stretch

this class is a mix of barre class (but with portions of the class using heavier weights) and then followed by a longer, extended stretching and cool down session. we suggest wearing shorts or leggings with a comfortable workout top. barre classes are about 45 minutes long. we generally don’t wear shoes and use a yoga mat. all class props and weights are included.

spin

our spin style is rhythmic and choreographed to the music. although much of the ride can be done standing, it certainly doesn’t have to be. although we ask you to block out one hour for this class, we spin for about 45 minutes and finish with a 5 minute stretch and cool down. we suggest you wear shorts or tighter leggings along with a comfortable workout top and bring a water bottle. there is a sweat towel provided for your use on each bike. you can wear your own tennis shoes or complimentary spin shoe rental is included.

spin and strength

about 30-35 minutes of spin (see description above) followed by a 15-20 minute strength training session. we suggest you wear shorts or tighter leggings along with a comfortable workout top. you can bring your own spin shoes with spd cleats or rent some from us. sweat towel and hand weights/props are included in this class. you are welcome to just do the spin portion or the full class.

yoga

look at yoga class titles to give you some specifics on the style of yoga for the class. all of our yoga classes are one hour long and beginner friendly (unless otherwise stated in the class description). we use a myriad of yoga props (mats, bolsters, blankets, blocks, tennis balls, straps, eye pillows, etc.) which are all included except for your personal yoga mat. we ask that you carefully consider your schedule when booking a yoga class, as we ask you arrive on time/early and stay for the whole class. if you have a special circumstance, please talk with your instructor in advance.
